This is a very unique, one of a kind porcelain soda-fired teacup with blushes of russet, maroon, and gray from atmospheric firing. This is a very special pice with triple crownlike atmospheric kisses. Can be used as a tea bowl, chawan, or matcha bowl. Minimalist, wabi-sabi contemporary aesthetic. Made with washes, clay slips, and lined with a shino glaze. Clay body is an English Grolleg porcelain, soda-fired to ^11. The teacup fits perfectly in the hands due to its organic form.

I make pots and sculptural vessels inspired by the landscape of the Pacific Northwest.
