I am an avid traveler and collect seashells, sand, ash, rocks and clay from the places I visit and incorporate them into my work. Each pot tells a unique story. This particular piece, uses calcite from seashells and sand collected in the San Juan islands.
This teabowl is dishwasher safe and great for everyday use. Can be used as tea bowl, chawan, or matcha bowl. Minimalist, wabi-sabi contemporary aesthetic. All items are handmade by the artist. The teacups fit perfect in the hands due to its organic form.
I make pots and sculptural vessels inspired by the landscape of the Pacific Northwest.
